A relaxation exercise

I have always been a fan of exercises. I had a teacher in high school that used to use our Friday class to introduce several of these exercises to us. I learned so much about myself in exercises- especially about controlled breathing. This most recent exercise was interesting. I had never thought to try an "move my blood" from one part of my body to another. I didn't lose all feeling like I was supposed to in the audio but I did get an heavy feeling and I felt much more relaxed once the exercise was over.

My youngest son is 18 months and going through a very loud and clingy phase. My stress level has gone through the roof. I am stretched so thin with all of my obligations to school, family, church and friends that I feel like I am going to loose my mind. This type of learning will hopefully help me regulate some of all the tension I accumulate. I know I can't continue on like this and it isn't healthy for my mind or body. I welcome any tips that can help me figure all of this out.

  2. It is amazing to learn about yourself through these classes and exercise programs that deal with the mind, body and spirit. This class has motivated me into taking yoga. I have always wanted to take the class, learning all this about the mind and body has definitely given me a reason to take the class.
